Lake George, New York is a beautiful town that is located right on the shore of Lake George. There are endless options for eating and drinking in this fairly small town. Bars, restaurants, and motels are plentiful along a strip that is approximately a mile long. There is usually about a half dozen options for live music and about five times that for a chilly beer. Every year, in the first week of June, a motorcycle rally is held in Lake George. The Americade Rally brings bikers from all over the country and the result is tens of thousands of motorcycles and riders. Needless to say, Lake George becomes quite a party. Bars struggle to keep enough beer while the roar of loud bikes is a constant on the main strip.

Towards the south end of this strip lies the Adirondack Pub and Brewery. The brewery is housed in a beautiful, fairly new log building that instantly shows the pride and dedication of the pubs owner. The inside has classic, one of kind rustic furnishings and unique items while the outside of the Adirondack Pub and Brewery features a huge, covered stone patio. There is plenty of room for live music, which is common at the pub. The Adirondack Pub and Brewery offers a tasty brew for every type of beer lover. From a pale ale to a stout, and everything in between. Like all great brew pubs, the Adirondack Brewery has amazing food choices to go along with your beers. Burgers, pizza, great appetizers and whatever else you may be craving can be found at the pub.

An important ingredient to a successful visit to a brew pub is how well you are treated. At The Adirondack Pub and Brewery we were immediately met with friendly, smiling staff. Our bartender took the time to explain the beer offerings and speak with us as if we were regulars there. There carefully crafted beers quenched our thirst and kept us wanting more.

To most of us that have traveled in The Adirondacks of New York, the name alone produces a feeling of beauty and calmness. The Adirondack Brewery and Pub lives up to it's name and creates a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy a fresh brew.
