Two Brewing Giants Announce Plans to Merge
Anheuser-Busch InBev has just completed the sale of all of it's theme parks, selling them to the Blackstone Group for $2.3 billion dollars. Anheuser-Busch owned 10 theme parks including the well known Sea Worlds and Busch Gardens, as well as Sesame Place and Adventure Island. InBev took over Anheuser-Busch last year in a deal worth $52 billion. The company was considered the second largest entertainment park operator employing around 25,000 people and welcoming 25 million visitors per year. Busch Entertainment will now be called Sea World Parks and Entertainment.
